This water adventure includes going into some of the most attractive surroundings that the Caribbean Sea and the jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula have to offer.

We start this magical experience snorkeling in the calm and transparent waters of an open magrove cenote part of the largest underground river system of the Peninsula. We will discover what lives in this ecosystem while getting familiar with the snorkeling gear before jumping to the sea.

We continue our journey exploring the Mesoamerican Coral Reef, the second largest reef in the world. Wherever you look, a wide variety of marine life and hundreds of species of brilliantly colored fish swim around you with grace and elegance.

The brain and fire coral, sea fan, giant anemone, queen conch, flamingo tongue, the angelfish, damselfish, parrotfish, cowfish, trunkfish, trumpetfish, and stingrays are just a few of the many species living in this Caribbean paradise.

After enjoying the marine life, we will travel inland to discover another incredible ecosystem in the mystical Maya underground rivers, the cave cenotes. Covered with water they give us entry to a magical world where we can see the delicate rock formations that are the result of the deposit of minerals hauled through the porous stones: stalactites and stalagmites.

We will close our experience sharing a delicious Mexican meal.

Open Mangrove Cenote and Reef

Cave Cenote in the Jungle

My Y.O. Story

“This tour was outstanding. It was exactly as I’d hoped. We brought our 8 and 11 year old kids and all four of us had a great time. Emiliano and Moi were very knowledgeable and really care about this amazing place – and they were fun to be with. We saw so many wonderful fish, birds and a crocodile all before a delicious lunch. Highly recommend.”

Kaila P.

“We started out in a more open-mangrove cenote early in the morning, then drove and snorkeled at the reef, and more unique cenotes after that! That’s not to say we packed it all in a few hours. We spent a lot of quality time at each location (we never felt rushed for a second) and throughout the entire day Antonio was pointing out so many interesting things about the local wildlife…everything from birds, to ocean life, plants, you name it! He truly was an expert about the wildlife and culture of the area and answered every question that came to mind! We also stopped a few times for a quick healthy snack / water that he brought along and we had a wonderfully delicious homemade mexican picnic lunch outside one of the cenotes we visited as well.”
