Through staff meetings, individual assessments, and feedback discussions, faculty and staff should understand how their work is perceived, what additional training is available, how their careers with Yucatan Outdoors can be expected to evolve, and what opportunities for additional work and advancement will realistically be available to them.
Our guides must take pride in their work and have natural flair for customer care.
It is also important the ability to demonstrate great familiarity with many areas of Yucatan Peninsula. Knowledge of Yucatan Peninsula history, culture, environment, geology and geography is also important to us.
Freelance opportunities exist for experienced guides who hold a Wilderness Leader qualification. Please note that the above qualification and experience are a prerequisite for these positions.
