The Yucatan Outdoors family shares a commitment to wilderness, education, leadership, safety, community, and excellence. These values define and direct who we are, what we do, and how we do it.

Our staff is outstanding and dedicated. Yucatan Outdoors attracts and develops excellent staff who are motivated to support and provide exceptional explorers experiences. Our focus is on retention and development of current staff while recruiting additional staff to meet our future needs.

Yucatan Outdoors strives to attract, recruit, and retain the best intown and instructional staff in the outdoor education industry. Exceptional team is the lifeblood of the Yucatan Outdoors wilderness experience.

Through staff meetings, individual assessments, and feedback discussions, faculty and staff should understand how their work is perceived, what additional training is available, how their careers with Yucatan Outdoors can be expected to evolve, and what opportunities for additional work and advancement will realistically be available to them.

Our guides must take pride in their work and have natural flair for customer care.

It is also important the ability to demonstrate great familiarity with many areas of Yucatan Peninsula. Knowledge of Yucatan Peninsula history, culture, environment, geology and geography is also important to us.
